METHOD OF APPLICATION

Scholarship requests are made online through the website www.scholarships.sk. The online application system becomes accessible at least six weeks before the application deadline. It’s essential to note that applications can only be completed if the online system is already operational.
Initial Phase: Candidates need to complete their digital applications and upload all necessary attachments in the specified format to their online submissions.
Applicants are permitted to present their applications and required attachments exclusively in Slovak or English. Any documents in other languages must undergo official translation into either Slovak or English, a translation that can be certified by the same institution responsible for the original document.
When dealing with documents that are linked to the application but issued by someone other than the applicant (for instance, recommendation letters, study confirmations, diplomas, diploma supplements, state examination certificates, admission or invitation letters), it is vital to scan and upload these papers onto the online application platform.
Furthermore, the applicant is responsible for retaining and archiving all original documents electronically that have been attached to the online application. Upon request, the applicant may need to submit these original documents (or certified duplicates) to the program administrator.
Second Phase: Upon the completion of the application form and the attachment of all necessary documents, the applicant should finalize the submission by selecting the “SEND” option. Additionally, the original copy of the admission or invitation letter must be physically delivered to SAIA, n. o., located in Bratislava (SAIA, n. o., Sasinkova 10, 812 20 Bratislava 1).
The delivery of this document must be completed no later than the third working day following the application deadline, and it should be received before 12 p.m. (The calculation of working days takes into account the legal status in Slovakia.)
